About Steven Piessens, owner and managing director at Oratore Communications
Steven Piessens (36) started his career as freelance copywriter and local spokesperson for the Belgian railways. Three years later, he became advisor in communications agencies working for spokespersons and managers. After more than 10 years, he decided to start up Oratore Communications. One year later Mediatrainer.be was founded and another 6 months later Crisistrainer.be. Steven is also the founding father of the thinking tank 'Loslopend Wild'.
Today he is a freelance consultant specialised in stakeholder conversations, media training and crisis communications. Steven is also co-owner of Biutiful, a fashion, design and art boutique in Antwerp. He loves cinema, design, olive oil and Málaga. Steven is happily married to Virginia Aguilera Casado.
